For cleaning companies · San Diego
Good teams deserve steady homes.
The Kept House books recurring clients in San Diego’s finest homes, then partners with established cleaning companies to care for them. You do the work you’re proud of. We handle the marketing, quotes, scheduling and payments.
- Recurring clients
- Paid every week
- You stay independent
No. 02 — The craft, kept
01Why partner
Everything but
the cleaning.
Good cleaning companies are short on steady clients, not skill. We fill your calendar with recurring homes and take every other job off your plate.
Recurring homes
Weekly and every-other-week clients, not one-off jobs. The same homes, on a schedule you can plan around.
Close together
We place homes near the ones you already care for, so your day is spent cleaning, not driving.
Paid every week
Direct deposit on the same day each week, for every visit completed. Never late.
No selling, no chasing
We find the clients, quote them, schedule them and collect payment. You never send an invoice.
Every tip is yours
Tips are passed through in full with your weekly payment.
We have your back
Client questions and complaints come to us, and clients who don't treat your team with respect don't stay clients.
02Independence
Your company.
Your craft.
Partners are independent cleaning companies, and they stay that way. We agree on the results every Kept home receives, and on the rate for each job, in writing. How your team gets there is your call.
You keep
- Your company name and your crew
- Your own products, equipment and methods
- Which homes and time slots you take on
- Your own clients and other work
We handle
- Finding and winning clients
- Quotes, scheduling and reminders
- Billing, payment and follow-up
- Client questions and complaints
Together, we hold every home to the Kept Standard — a written, room-by-room description of the results our clients expect. See the Kept Standard
03What we look for
Selective, by design.
Our clients trust us with their homes, so we’re careful about who we send. Every partner brings:
- A licensed cleaning business with clients of its own
- General liability insurance, with The Kept House added as additional insured
- A janitorial bond, and workers' compensation if you have employees
- Background checks for everyone who will enter a client's home
- Experience with marble, natural stone, hardwood and fine fixtures
- Two current residential clients we can call as references
- A quick message when you arrive and when you finish, with photos
04Process

Your first homes
Sign a simple partner agreement, then choose the homes that suit your schedule.
How are rates set?
Per job type, agreed in writing before you take on a home. You'll always know exactly what a visit pays before you accept it.
When and how are we paid?
Weekly, by direct deposit, for every visit completed that week. Tips are passed through in full.
Do we bring our own supplies?
Yes — your own products and equipment. If a client asks for something specific, such as a stone-safe cleaner, we'll let you know ahead of time.
Can we keep our own clients?
Of course, and most partners do. Homes we introduce stay with The Kept House, and your own clients stay yours.
What if a client reports a problem?
We tell you right away, with photos. Your team returns within 48 hours to make it right — a re-clean is part of the original job.
Which areas do you need?
Coastal and central San Diego, from Coronado to North County — including La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Coronado, Point Loma, Mission Hills, Carmel Valley and nearby.
Do you hire individual cleaners?
Not as employees. We partner with independent cleaning businesses — from owner-operators to larger teams — that have their own license, insurance and clients.
